This is one of my favorite donut shops in Seattle, the Daily Dozen located across the way from Delaurenti's in the Pike Place Market, near the newstand at the entrance.
They're not "gourmet", but they're always fresh and warm and the mini-size goes far to alleviate any guilt!
There are a lot of great places to live within walking distance of the market, including Harbor Steps. Most condominiums for sale in Downtown Seattle are expensive, with one-bedrooms starting in the $400K price range. But often, owners are able to sell their car because they can walk to everything they need.
